Biography
Mikee Morada is a Filipino politician and the vice mayor of Lipa, Batangas, born in Trenton, New Jersey on April 18, 1987. He is also widely known as the husband of actress, host and vlogger Alex Gonzaga.
Early Life
Michael Gerard Tantoco Morada was born in the United States and holds both Philippine and American citizenship. He studied at De La Salle University in Manila and at the University of California, Los Angeles.
Career
Morada entered politics with the Nacionalista Party and served as a city councilor of Lipa, Batangas from 2019 to 2025. In the 2025 elections he ran for vice mayor and won with more than 139,000 votes, beating Camille Lopez, and took office on June 30, 2025.
He and Alex Gonzaga were introduced by actor Piolo Pascual and became a couple in October 2016. They married in a small private ceremony at the Gonzaga family home in Taytay, Rizal in November 2020, which Alex revealed on her YouTube channel in January 2021. Gonzaga paused her showbiz work to campaign for him in 2025. Through the marriage he is the brother-in-law of television host Toni Gonzaga.
