Rizwan Sajan is an Indian-born UAE-based billionaire businessman, entrepreneur and reality TV personality best known as the founder and chairman of Danube Group. He is one of the main cast members of Netflix's Desi Bling, where he appears as one of Dubai's most influential Indian business figures.

Early Life

Rizwan Sajan was born on 28 December 1963 in Ghatkopar, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. He came from humble beginnings and started working early in life, taking up small jobs before moving to Kuwait as a young salesman. After the Gulf War disrupted his life in Kuwait, he eventually moved to Dubai, where he began rebuilding his career from the ground up.

Career

In 1993, Rizwan Sajan founded Danube Group, which grew from a building-materials trading business into a major diversified conglomerate with interests in building materials, home interiors, real estate, hospitality and media. His company became one of the best-known Indian-owned business groups in the UAE, and he gained recognition for Danube Properties and its popular 1 percent payment plan.
