Khatab Hindi

Hindi has Iraqi roots and was raised in Canada. He studied both architecture and audio engineering there, which led him into parallel careers in design and music. He later moved to Dubai, where he built up his DJ career.

Before the show, Hindi worked as an architect while performing and producing music as Khardiac. He has played sets abroad, including in London and Croatia, and releases music on platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music and SoundCloud. On the show he introduced himself as an architect, DJ and music producer and said that respect mattered most to him in a relationship.

He and Asma Sami got engaged in the pods. After their first in-person meeting she hesitated and stepped back, then returned to the experiment, and the two reconnected during the couples' getaway. On the wedding day she chose not to marry: her parents had not yet met him or given their blessing, and she felt the relationship had moved too fast. Commentators noted the contrast between his nightlife career and more traditional expectations around marriage, and the episode became one of the most discussed moments of the series. The reunion on 1 November 2024 revealed that the two had dated briefly after filming before splitting.

Hindi told The National that the series had changed his life for the better, mostly by bringing his music to a far wider audience, though he found the public attention stressful. Since the show he has kept DJing, partnered with luxury lifestyle and automotive brands, and produced podcasts and digital content, including discussions of mental health and the pressures of performing.
