Safa Al Juboori

Al Juboori is Iraqi, and the show's cast listing gives her background as Iraq and Kuwait. She has said that she and AlKiswani grew up in different parts of the Arab world with different upbringings. She has not spoken about her family or education in detail in the press.

At the time of filming Al Juboori worked as a financial manager, and later coverage describes her as a business development professional in the renewable energy sector. She was one of the older members of the 20-person cast. In her introduction she said that with age she had become clear about what she did and didn't want in a partner.

She formed a bond with AlKiswani in the pods, and they got engaged before meeting in person. Part of their storyline was her family coming round to him: her mother and brother welcomed him once he had shown his commitment. The finale featured traditional pre-wedding customs, including the Iraqi sufra al aqid ritual. Of the couples who reached the altar, they were the only pair to say yes and marry.

At the reunion, released on 1 November 2024, the couple confirmed they were still married and living together. Al Juboori told The National that the experience had taught her that real connection takes openness, risk and vulnerability, and that she hoped to use her new platform to encourage women to follow their ambitions without giving up on love. Since the show she has shared posts about married life and travel on social media. The series was later nominated for an International Emmy, and a second season with a new cast and hosts arrives on Netflix in November 2026.
