Toyin Abraham (born Olutoyin Aimakhu; full married name Toyin Abraham Ajeyemi) is a Nigerian actress, film producer and director from Auchi in Edo State. Her birthday is 5 September; most Nigerian reports indicate she was born in 1980 and turned 45 in September 2025, though some sources give 1982 or 1984.
Abraham works in both Yoruba-language and English-language Nollywood. She is known for the Alakada comedy franchise, Ijakumo: The Born Again Stripper and Oversabi Aunty, which passed ₦1 billion at the West African box office in early 2026.

Early Life
Abraham was born Olutoyin Aimakhu in Auchi, in present-day Edo State, and later moved to the south-west of Nigeria. She studied at Osun State Polytechnic and at the Polytechnic, Ibadan.
Her entry into film came in 2003, when veteran actress Bukky Wright came to Ibadan to shoot a movie and gave her the opportunity to act. She performed for several years as Toyin Aimakhu before adopting the name Toyin Abraham in late 2016.

Career
After her 2003 debut, Abraham built her career in Yoruba-language films, playing Yetunde in Alakada (2009) and its sequels, and appearing in Omo Elemosho (2012), Ebimi Ni and Alani Baba Labake (2013). Ebimi Ni earned her a Best Supporting Actress nomination at the 2013 Best of Nollywood Awards. Martini Animashaun of Tinimash Entertainment produced her reality show, Keeping Up With Toyin Aimakhu.
She crossed over to English-language cinema with Okafor's Law and Love Is in the Hair (2016), followed by Alakada Reloaded, Hakkunde, Mentally and Wives on Strike: The Revolution (2017), and Esohe (2018). She runs Toyin Abraham Productions, which has produced titles such as Ijakumo: The Born Again Stripper.
Her film Oversabi Aunty opened in Nigerian cinemas on 19 December 2025 with about ₦100 million in its opening weekend, according to Nairametrics. Punch and other outlets reported that it had passed ₦1 billion at the West African box office by early 2026. She has endorsement deals with brands including Revolution Plus Properties.
