Biography
Joel Creasey is an Australian stand-up comedian, actor, television presenter and radio host. He is known for acclaimed live comedy tours, screen appearances and a sharp, pop-culture-focused style. Creasey has become a familiar Australian media personality through entertainment programs, panel shows, Eurovision coverage and comedy specials.
Early Life
Born on August 11, 1990, in Sydney, Australia, Joel Creasey moved to Perth with his family while young. He attended Wesley College in Perth and first tried stand-up comedy at age 15. After reaching the state finals of the Raw Comedy competition as a teenager, he made his Melbourne International Comedy Festival debut in 2010.
Career
Creasey built a national audience through touring and television, including work on I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!, Eurovision, the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras broadcast and panel programs. His stand-up special Thirsty appears in Netflix’s Comedians of the World, and Fame Whore was released on Amazon Prime.
