Mohamed Gahed

Gahed is Egyptian and lives in Dubai, where he works in property, and he travels to Cairo often. He keeps most details of his family and upbringing private, though he has spoken about being close to his mother.

The show introduced Gahed as a Dubai real estate consultant who valued personality and charisma more than looks. In the pods he was one of the men pursuing Asma Sami. After his first choices got engaged to other people, he proposed to Nour El Haj, and she accepted.

The relationship ran into trouble quickly at the couples' resort. Gahed felt they had little in common and became convinced she still had feelings for another participant, Chafic Yactine. He left the getaway early, and the couple split before the weddings, a breakup that divided viewers. At the reunion, filmed about a year later, he repeated his claims and said she had accepted the engagement only to stay on the show. He then apologised to her, both on the reunion stage and later on TikTok, and has described the reunion as a gruelling 12-hour shoot.

Gahed told The National he had no regrets and saw the series as a lesson that taught him to value himself more. He added that if he did it again he would be more goal-focused and work harder to understand his partner. He still works as a real estate consultant and is also building a profile as a content creator, posting travel and Dubai lifestyle content and pursuing brand collaborations, including fashion projects.
