Biography
Noor Neelofa Mohd Noor, known as Neelofa, is a Malaysian actress, television presenter, model and entrepreneur. She was born on 10 February 1989 in Pasir Mas, Kelantan, and is of Persian, Pakistani and Malay descent. She first became famous by winning the Dewi Remaja 2009/10 title and went on to co-host Astro Ria's entertainment show MeleTOP for seven years.
She also founded the hijab label Naelofar Hijab, sold in more than 37 countries, and was named to Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia in 2017. She has more than eight million Instagram followers and is a prominent figure in modest fashion.

Early Life
Neelofa grew up in Kelantan and attended Maktab Rendah Sains MARA in Langkawi. She then took A Levels at KDU University College from 2007 to 2009. She hoped to study in the United States, but her family did not agree. She enrolled at Sunway University instead, studying international business and marketing.
Career
Winning Dewi Remaja, a contest run by the teen magazine Remaja, led to acting work, including the role of Alisya in the drama Kau Yang Terindah. She received good reviews for her performances in Lukisan Takdir and Wan Embong. In 2014 she took acting classes at the New York Film Academy. She co-hosted MeleTOP with Nabil Ahmad and also presented the programme Nona. She announced in December 2019 that she was leaving MeleTOP after seven years.
In 2014 she set up NH Prima Sdn Bhd to run Naelofar Hijab. The brand has worked with AirAsia on hijabs for its female pilots and with Starbucks on an exclusive collection, and it reported selling more than 10 million hijabs within five years. She sat on AirAsia's board as an independent non-executive director from December 2017 to August 2020. In 2019 she became the first Malaysian to win at the Influencer Awards Monaco, in the entrepreneur category. Other ventures include Lofalens contact lenses and the Nilofa food and drink brand.
She married preacher and actor Haris Ismail on 27 March 2021. The couple have two sons, born in 2022 and 2023.
