Biography
Sarocha Chankimha, known by her nickname Freen, is a Thai actress, singer, model and entrepreneur. She was born on 8 August 1998 in Bangkok and is a Thai national. She is best known for playing Khun Sam in GAP The Series (2022), Thailand's first girls' love (GL) series to air on national television. With co-star Becky Armstrong she formed the pairing known as FreenBecky.
Her later work includes the GL science-fiction film Uranus 2324 and the period series The Loyal Pin (both 2024), the horror-comedy Rider (2024) and the 2026 thriller film The Stain. In 2026 she appears across the 4 Elements GL series on Channel 7HD and leads its instalment The Air.
She has also built a profile in international fashion. In January 2025 Valentino named her its first female Thai brand ambassador. That May she became the first Thai actress to attend the Met Gala, and in October 2025 she was included in The Business of Fashion's BoF 500.

Early Life
Sarocha grew up in Bangkok and finished secondary school at La Salle School. On an academic merit scholarship she studied public relations and corporate communication at Rangsit University's College of Communication Arts, graduating with first-class honours at a ceremony on 23 January 2022.
At university she helped support her family with a range of jobs, including running an online clothing shop on Instagram, blogging, runway and photographic modelling, and music video work. In 2016 she entered Miss Teen Thailand, reaching the top 15 and winning a sponsor award.

Career
Sarocha's first screen work was the May 2017 music video "Before Rain" by The Toys. She signed with Idol Factory in 2020 and made her acting debut in 2021 as a lead in the romantic comedy So Fit, then joined Secret Crush on You on Channel 3 in early 2022.
Her breakthrough came later in 2022 with GAP The Series, in which she played the executive Khun Sam opposite Becky Armstrong. The series drew more than 900 million views on YouTube, and she also sang on its soundtrack. She and Armstrong reunited in 2024 for two projects filmed at the same time: Uranus 2324, which topped the Thai box office on its opening day in July, and The Loyal Pin on Workpoint TV, in which she played Lady Pilanthita ('Khun Pin'), a noblewoman in 1950s Thailand. She has called The Loyal Pin, which took eight months to film, the most demanding project of her career so far. In December 2024 she appeared with Mario Maurer in the Sahamongkolfilm horror-comedy Rider.
When her Idol Factory contract ended in October 2025, Sarocha set up her own management company, Solenn Entertainment. In February 2026 she co-starred with Engfa Waraha in the film The Stain, a modern take on Buppah Rahtree. The same year she played police officer Lom across the 4 Elements anthology and led The Air, her fourth leading project with Armstrong.
In fashion, she attended the 2024 Cannes Film Festival as a Red Sea International Film Festival 'Women in Cinema' honoree. She has attended Valentino shows in Paris since 2024 and has covered Vogue Thailand, L'Officiel Thailand, Harper's Bazaar Thailand and Grazia Singapore.
