Biography

Fatima Bosch (born Fátima Bosch Fernández on 19 May 2000) is a Mexican model and beauty pageant titleholder best known for being crowned Miss Universe 2025 representing Mexico. She gained international attention after a viral confrontation with a pageant executive and went on to win the crown, using her platform to promote respect, authenticity and women's empowerment.

Early Life

Born in Teapa, Tabasco, Mexico, Bosch grew up in southern Mexico and was initially skeptical about beauty pageants. Over time she embraced pageantry as a way to combine fashion, public speaking and social impact, and has spoken about how overcoming bullying and learning challenges helped shape her empathy and resilience.

Career

Bosch began competing in local and regional pageants as a teenager, winning titles such as Flor Tabasco 2018 and Miss Universe Tabasco 2025 before being crowned Miss Universe Mexico 2025. In November 2025 she won the Miss Universe crown in Thailand, becoming the fourth Mexican woman to hold the title. Outside of pageantry she works in sustainable fashion and supports causes related to sick children, mental health, environmental protection and animal welfare.
