Biography
Kim Go-eun is a South Korean model and beauty pageant titleholder who appeared on the Netflix dating reality series Single's Inferno season 5, released in January 2026. Born in 2000, she placed third, with the "Mi" title, at the 66th Miss Korea pageant in 2022. She is not the actress of the same name.
On Single's Inferno 5 she was one of the most-pursued women on the island, drawing interest from optician Woo Sung-min, handball coach Shin Hyeon-woo and late-arriving actor Jo I-geon. In the finale she chose Woo Sung-min, a decision Korean and English-language press described as unexpected because much of her storyline had centred on Jo I-geon.
At the reunion special filmed about six months later, Kim and Woo said they had remained friends rather than dating.

Early Life
Kim studied aviation operations at Inha Technical College in Incheon, a programme that prepares students for cabin-crew careers. She was a student there when she entered Miss Korea in 2022, representing the Gyeonggi-Incheon region.
Career
Kim won the "Mi" title at the 66th Miss Korea pageant, held on 26 October 2022 at Blue Square in Itaewon, Seoul, finishing behind winner Lee Seung-hyun and runner-up Yu Si-eun. She went on to work as a model for beauty and fashion brand campaigns, and she had already drawn online attention before Netflix confirmed her in the Single's Inferno 5 cast.
On the show, the men were drawn to what Netflix described as her "charming aloofness". She went to Paradise with Woo Sung-min, and her scenes with Jo I-geon, who entered in episode five as a game changer alongside Lee Ha-eun, received a large share of screen time. She ultimately chose Woo in the final.
In the Single's Inferno Reunion released on 14 February 2026, Kim and Jo I-geon cleared up an earlier misunderstanding. In a YouTube appearance posted in March 2026, Jo said the two were meeting regularly but were not in a relationship, while Kim described them as getting to know each other again.
