Early Life
DaPron grew up in Coto de Caza as one of the daughters of Marshall and Cindy Jones. Athletics ran in the family: her father played football at BYU, and her older sister, Lauren Jones-Spencer, played tennis for BYU and later became the program's head coach. Her younger sister Mayci also went on to play tennis at BYU.
She began competing in national tournaments at age nine and in international events at 14. At Tesoro High School she was a league champion, and she was rated a five-star, blue-chip recruit and ranked No. 8 nationally by TennisRecruiting.net. She reached the Easter Bowl finals in both the 14s and 16s age groups and earned a career-high WTA ranking of No. 773 in November 2009. Several leading programs, including Stanford, Georgia Tech, UCLA and USC, showed interest before she signed with BYU in late 2007.

Career
DaPron played two seasons at BYU, from 2008 to 2010. As a freshman she was named Mountain West Conference Freshman of the Year and earned all-conference honors in singles and doubles. In her second season she won the BYU Invitational singles title for a second time, qualified for the NCAA Singles Championships, was named Academic All-MWC and reached a national doubles ranking as high as No. 18 with partner Megan Price.
She then transferred to UCLA, where she played No. 1 singles throughout the 2010-11 season and finished the year ranked No. 50 in singles and No. 22 in doubles. In 2011-12, her final season, she clinched the deciding singles match in UCLA's 4-3 win over USC in the NCAA team semifinals. She studied history at UCLA and married former BYU volleyball player Alex DaPron in 2011.
After college she settled back in Orange County and began sharing content about motherhood, marriage, home life and family activities on Instagram, building a much smaller following than many of her co-stars. In April 2026 Hulu named her as part of the cast of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County, alongside Aspyn Ovard, Bobbi Althoff, Avery Woods, Madison Bontempo and others, with Jen Affleck linking the new series to the original. Season 1 premieres on Hulu on November 12, 2026.
