Jen Affleck

Affleck was born in Provo, Utah, and grew up largely in the San Francisco area of California. Her family was large: she has two biological siblings and two adopted siblings, and her parents cared for more than twenty foster children over the years. She was raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and still describes herself as religious.

She married Zac Affleck on June 28, 2019. The couple began sharing parts of their family life online, and her pregnancy content became the basis of her early social media following.

Affleck started a wedding videography business in January 2021. That same year, videos about her pregnancy brought her a growing TikTok audience, and she became part of MomTok, the Utah influencer group made up of young Latter-day Saint mothers. By 2025 she had more than four million followers across Instagram and TikTok.

In July 2024 she was announced as part of the cast of Hulu's The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, which premiered on September 6, 2024. She was a main cast member in season 1. Her role in season 2 (2025) was smaller after she learned she was pregnant with her third child, and she returned in full for season 3 (2025) and season 4 (2026). She also appears in season 5 (2026).

At the season 2 reunion, she and co-star Whitney Leavitt were announced for season 34 of Dancing with the Stars. Affleck was partnered with Jan Ravnik and competed only eight weeks after giving birth. The pair were eliminated in the seventh episode.

In April 2026, Affleck announced on TikTok that she would join the Orange County spin-off, which follows a new group of Southern California influencers. It premieres on Hulu on November 12, 2026.
