Biography

Park Hee-sun (also romanized Park Hee-seon) is a South Korean beauty pageant titleholder and reality television personality, known for appearing in Season 5 of Netflix's dating show Single's Inferno in 2026. She is South Korean, was born in 2003, and was 22 during the show. She was first runner-up (Miss Korea Sun) at Miss Korea 2024.

Away from the cameras, Park is an undergraduate at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, where she studies Information Systems. Her mix of pageant experience and a strong academic record drew a great deal of attention while the season streamed, and Carnegie Mellon's official Instagram account highlighted her as a current student in February 2026.

On Single's Inferno Season 5 she left the island as a final couple with model and former baseball pitcher Lim Su-bin, and the pair appeared together again on the reunion special.

Early Life

Park chose to attend university in the United States, enrolling at Carnegie Mellon University as an Information Systems major, adding minors in Human-Computer Interaction and Fine Arts. She has said she chose the field because it brings together computer engineering, business and design, and that she wants to use technology for social good.

In late 2025 she shared her applications for exchange study at Yonsei University and Seoul National University, and in March 2026 she began a semester as a visiting student at Seoul National University.

Career

Park entered the national pageant circuit in 2024 and finished as first runner-up, holding the Miss Korea Sun title, at Miss Korea 2024. She was in Korea for Miss Korea duties when she was offered a place on Single's Inferno. Alongside her studies she has also interned at L'Oreal Korea.

Single's Inferno Season 5 premiered on Netflix on January 20, 2026, with 15 cast members, the largest group in the show's history. Park said she kept her casting secret even from close friends, who only found out when the official poster came out. During the season she formed a connection with Lim Su-bin, and the two became one of a record five final couples. At the reunion on February 14, 2026, they said they had kept seeing each other after filming.

The season ranked No. 2 worldwide in Netflix's non-English TV category, and Park's public profile grew quickly afterwards. Korean outlets reported that her newly public Instagram account passed 500,000 followers in about a day.
