Biography
DJ Bliss is the stage name of Marwan Parham Al Awadhi, an Emirati DJ, music producer, radio and television presenter born in Dubai on 6 June 1981. Regarded as one of the first Emirati DJs to build an international touring career, he is also known to a global audience as a main cast member of the Netflix reality series Dubai Bling, appearing in all three seasons released between 2022 and 2025.
On Dubai Bling he appears alongside his wife, content creator Danya Mohammed (known online as Diva Dee). The show has followed their marriage, family life and his music career, as well as the couple's friendships and disagreements with other cast members. Al Awadhi has described Marwan as his daytime persona and DJ Bliss as his night-time one.

Early Life
Al Awadhi was born and raised in Dubai. He started out in the late 1990s and early 2000s with mixtapes, school events and small DJ jobs at a local theme park, followed by guest spots on Dubai radio while he was still at school and in his early college years. He has said his early musical grounding was in hip-hop before he moved towards house and electronic music.
He and his peers were part of a generation that helped build Dubai's homegrown nightlife scene at a time when the city had little dedicated infrastructure for local DJs.

Career
Al Awadhi's profile rose after he won a Middle East DJ competition in 2005, which earned him a slot at Ministry of Sound in London. He went on to promote his own club nights in Dubai, booking international hip-hop artists, and has played in cities including Paris, Barcelona, Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpur, as well as opening for major acts. Regional media recognised him with several nightlife and personality awards between 2008 and 2012, including Time Out Dubai's Best Local DJ in 2011.
Alongside DJing he has worked in broadcasting. He hosted the entertainment programme That's Entertainment on Dubai One and radio shows on Dubai's Channel 4 FM, including the breakfast show Mornings with Marwan and Eve from January 2015. As a recording artist he released his debut single, Everything About You, in 2011, collaborated with Wyclef Jean, and later signed with Universal Music MENA. In 2015 he became the first DJ from the Middle East and North Africa signed to the US booking agency SKAM Artist. He has also run businesses in Dubai, including the barber shop Beats and Cuts.
Netflix introduced him in 2022 as an Emirati DJ who followed his passion to international success, and he remained a main cast member of Dubai Bling through season 2 (2023) and season 3 (2025). In 2025 he was working on an EP titled Trilogy, which blends Arabic, Indian and Brazilian influences with house music, alongside a new tour leg and the expansion of his Blings party brand.
