Biography
Safa Siddiqui is a British-born fashion designer and reality television personality of Iraqi descent, based in Dubai. She was born and raised in London to Iraqi parents, and she is best known as one of the original cast members of the Netflix docu-soap Dubai Bling, which premiered in 2022.
She has appeared in Seasons 1, 2 and 3 of the series, usually alongside her husband, businessman Fahad Siddiqui. When Netflix announced the cast, it introduced her as a London-raised woman of Iraqi heritage with plans to launch her own fashion collection. Her journey as a designer, her marriage and her life as a mother of two daughters have been central to her storylines.
Besides her work in fashion, she has a large social media following, where she shares her designs, family life and events in Dubai.
Early Life
Safa grew up in London in a family of Iraqi heritage, and she has described both British and Middle Eastern culture as part of her background. She took an interest in fashion from an early age.
Before reality television she worked in the corporate world, including a spell as a real estate agent in Dubai. She met Fahad Siddiqui at the Dubai property agency where they both worked. The couple became engaged in February 2018 and married in November 2018 in a traditional Indian wedding ceremony.
Career
Safa moved from real estate into fashion design and modelling, and much of her public profile is built on her style and her own designs. When Dubai Bling was announced in September 2022, Netflix presented her as someone hoping to launch her own fashion collection with Fahad's support.
Dubai Bling premiered on 27 October 2022. In the first season, viewers followed Safa and Fahad as they settled into married life and discussed where to live. She returned for Season 2 in December 2023, having become a mother for the second time, and that season included a much-discussed falling-out with co-star Farhana Bodi. She was part of the cast again for Season 3, released on 8 January 2025.
Alongside the show she works as a fashion designer and content creator, sharing her collections, red-carpet looks and family moments with her followers. The couple's daughters were born in 2019 and December 2022.
