Biography

Kris Fade, born Kristan Fahd on 27 February 1980 in Sydney, Australia, is an Australian radio presenter and entrepreneur of Lebanese heritage who has been based in Dubai since 2008. He is best known as the host of The Kris Fade Show, the breakfast programme on Virgin Radio Dubai, and as one of the original cast members of the Netflix reality series Dubai Bling.

Fade appeared as a main cast member in the first two seasons of Dubai Bling (2022 and 2023), where viewers followed his wedding to Brianna Ramirez and the couple's journey to becoming parents. He made only a brief appearance in the first episode of season 3 (2025) after the family chose to step back from filming. Away from radio and television, he founded the snack and wellness brand Fade Fit, which the family owns outright.

He has three children: two daughters from his first marriage and a son, Kruz, born in November 2023 to him and Brianna.

Early Life

Fade grew up in Sydney in a family of Lebanese origin. He began his broadcasting career in Australian radio and had spent around three years at a Sydney station by his mid-twenties, a period he has described as feeling stalled because the station was not the market leader.

That changed when Ian Grace, then chief executive of Virgin Radio International, offered him the chance to move abroad to either Kuala Lumpur or Dubai. Fade chose Dubai, saying he wanted to reconnect with his Arab roots. He has since spoken publicly about how difficult his first year and a half in the city was, including arriving with little savings, supporting his children on a modest salary, and at times struggling to pay household bills.

Career

Fade moved to Dubai in 2008 to help launch Virgin Radio's first Middle East station, 104.4 Virgin Radio Dubai, initially planning to stay for two years. He went on to host The Kris Fade Show for more than 16 years, and the programme has also been carried on the KIIS network in Australia. Over the years he has collected regional radio honours, including best radio DJ and best personality awards, and was named in Ahlan! magazine's Hot 100 Legends list in 2015. He has also performed at events such as Dubai Music Week and RedfestDXB.

In 2022 Netflix announced him as part of the cast of Dubai Bling, its first Arabic-language docu-soap, which premiered on 27 October 2022. The first season centred on his upcoming marriage to Brianna Ramirez; the couple wed in Dubai in March 2022 and the ceremony featured in the season finale. Season 2, released in December 2023, followed the couple as they started a family. In July 2024 he won Reality Personality of the Year at the National Reality TV Awards in London for his work on the show. In January 2025 he explained that he and Brianna had decided it was best for their family to sit out season 3, although he appeared briefly in its opening episode and did not rule out a future return.

Fade Fit grew out of a personal health low point; the idea came in 2018 and the brand launched in the UAE in 2019. It sells protein bars, snacks, kids' products and vitamins through major Gulf retailers and online platforms, with Brianna serving as brand manager. Fade has also spoken openly about his experiences with depression, anxiety and weight gain, which he credits with shaping the company's family-focused approach to nutrition.
