Miranda Hope

Hope was born in Pocatello, Idaho, and grew up in nearby Rigby. As a high school student she began modeling and working with local photographers, and after moving to Utah she worked as a freelance model.

She met Chase McWhorter in 2016, after he returned from a two-year Latter-day Saint mission, and they married in 2017. The couple have a son and a daughter.

Hope became one of the founding members of MomTok, and by 2021 she was among its better-known creators. She was approached for the first season of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives but turned it down. She had been close friends with Taylor Frankie Paul, and the 2022 'soft-swinging' story that went viral, and that the series grew out of, involved both couples. Hope and McWhorter later divorced, and she stepped back from MomTok content.

She joined the series with a surprise entrance in season 2 (2025). Her arrival was met with tension from some castmates and fans, though reviewers noted that her standing with viewers improved over later seasons. She remained in the main cast for season 3 (2025) and seasons 4 and 5 (2026), and the show also featured her friendship with fellow cast member Layla Taylor.

In May 2026 a TikTok in which she set text messages to music drew attention to her singing. In June 2026 she released her debut single, FU4THAT, a country song about choosing yourself, and hinted at more music to come. She also creates beauty content and walked at Miami Swim Week.
